ITU Ranking Criteria 3: ITU Continental Rankings
1.
Purpose: ITU Continental Rankings will be used to determine athletes’ eligibility to enter ITU Triathlon Continental Championships and ITU Triathlon Continental Cup events. Continental confederations may also use the ITU Points List to determine national federation quotas for Continental Championships. The ITU Continental Rankings will be posted on the ITU website; www.triathlon.org from time to time.

Number of Rankings: There are 5 Continental Rankings (one per continent: Africa, the Americas, Asia, Europe, Oceania).
3.
Eligibility: Only athletes in good standing with their National Federation affiliated to the Continental confederation are eligible for the ITU Continental Rankings. Athletes are counted only for the ITU Continental Rankings of their own Continent, earned points only from events on their own Continent.
